Ben has been in love with film and creative storytelling for as long as he can remember. Few things in life give him more joy than bonding with the artists, performers, and tradespeople who bring stories to screen. Some of his favorites are Wall Street, Dig, Blazing Saddles, Last of the Mohicans, Run Lola Run, White Men Can’t Jump, True Romance, Heat, State and Main, Michael Clayton, Stop Making Sense, 20,000 Days on Earth, Lion, and Triangle of Sadness.
Ben’s Short films have appeared in festivals around the world, and have been awarded at the LA Film Fest, Sci-Fi London, and Berlin Independent. If you’d like to talk story, he’d love to hear from you.

Just prior to their reunion tour, Spotify brought Tears For Fears into the legendary Village Studios in LA to record an intimate live performance. The stoke was very high when Ben got the call to come put his camera skills to work and capture it.

The immediacy and intimacy of shooting performing artists giving it their all is a sacred experience for Ben. It’s like being part of a timeless conversation that has been going on between humans for millennia. This shoot for Yourstru.ly took place at a moment when the boundaries of that conversation were being expanded by Tyler the Creator, and the various permutations of Odd Future, OFWGKTA, et al. Ben was there, he shot it, heard it, saw it, and felt it with that sweaty bunch at the Echoplex, and still remembers it like it was yesterday.
